Living Science Academy is making a name for itself as a STEM education leader in Georgia.
Students from our Engineering Essentials class participate in the K-12 Inventure Challenge. Many of our teams have the opportunity to present their inventions at the state competition at Georgia Tech. In 2016, our team placed 2nd in the state out of 60 participating schools and won the TAG Manufacturing Award.
Our 2016 team competed in the National Invention Convention and Entrepreneurial Expo (NICEE) in Washington DC in May, bringing home 2nd place in the national high school competition. They patented their invention, and one member of that team is now studying mechanical engineering at Georgia Tech.
