“Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever.” Psalm 136:26
As we sit pondering this profound statement, our hearts are full.
Looking back over the past 20 years of this ministry called Living Science, we are speechless at His steadfast love and provision. It simply is not possible to write down everything in our hearts, so we have combined our thoughts into a STAR.
Our deepest desire and purpose for existing is to share the message of salvation with students and parents alike. Over the past 20 years, hundreds and hundreds have come through the doors of Living Science, and all have been exposed to the glorious TRUTH of Jesus’ sacrifice for our sins. Science is a wonderful way to showcase His fingerprints and often opens the door to discuss the nail prints on His hands! Only Eternity will reveal those who came to Christ.
Teaching your children is such a privilege. We work with you in a partnership to TRAIN them in the way they should go. Looking back we see doctors, nurses, physician’s assistants, physical therapists, teachers, musicians, missionaries, a youth pastor, a lawyer, a sports coach, a Coastguard officer, an Army Officer, a Military Ranger, Air Force officers, business managers, business owners, IT managers, a political campaign manager, chemical engineers, a park Ranger, actors, veterinarians, moms and dads raising their own little children, and a host of other careers too many to mention. We could never have imagined such fruit.
We think differently at Living Science. God has extended such grace and mercy to us; how can we do less for the children He sends to us? So, first we look for the diamond inside each student. Then we set about polishing so each child can SHINE like a star bringing glory to Him. Next, we teach and model a life-changing truth: “there is NO growth in a comfort zone and NO comfort in a growth zone.” This attitude changes everything and produces “doers of God’s Word,” not whiners of entitlement. A strong attitude produces strong warriors.
We take our vision statement very seriously: “Training the next generation to reach beyond academic excellence, building leaders who will drive truth and Godly values into society.” Our responsibility is to invest in students’ lives every time they are on campus so they are equipped to go out and fulfill their responsibility. Words cannot describe our joy as we see this happening.
Indeed, WE GIVE THANKS because His wonderful works and steadfast love endure forever. We will “Continue steadfast in prayer, being watchful in it with thanksgiving.” Colossians 4.2
May all who come behind us find us faithful!
